How can we work in an American company and on the American market when living in Ukraine?
Our employees in Ukraine as well as in the US telecommute, that means they work from their home offices. Our employees have access to the company information online and all work processes we have are adjusted to telecommuting type of work. So, such system and organization of work makes it possible to work in Ukraine for an American company that does business on the American market.
Why do you hire Recruiters from Ukraine and not from other countries?
The personnel we find in Ukraine seem to have a perfect combination of excellent English, high educational level, and good work ethics. We don’t hide the fact that another reason for hiring Recruiters and Administrative Support Personnel outside of the US is a lower cost which helps V&A be more competitive on the American market.
How can I know that your company is real and not some kind of scam?

Do you require any financial investments on my side?
We NEVER require our employees to make any financial investments.
I have never worked as a Recruiter before. Will I ever have a chance to join your company as a Recruiter?
In order to join us as a Recruiter, no previous experience in this field is required. We provide all the necessary training and continue guiding you through the whole duration of your career with us. We do, however, encourage you to research the key skills and personality traits this position involves to determine if it is right for you. Recruiters are very result-oriented people with great communication, analytical, and research skills.
I have never worked as a Recruiter before. Does your company provide any training?
Yes, we do provide an extensive online and in-person training program that covers all the basics you need to start a career as a Recruiter. Our training program covers search and interviewing techniques, basic IT concepts, work station setup steps, and all the relevant Company policies. You will be trained by at least 4 various trainers and receive a comprehensive V&A Trainee’s Handbook with all the necessary information.
Do I have to pay for the training you provide?
No, you don’t. The training that we provide for new employees is part of your job with us and you are paid your salary for the training period.
Will I have to go to the States for the training?
No, you won’t. All training programs take place only in Ukraine.
Do you have an office in Ukraine?
No, we don’t. We have offices only in the United States.
Can I work flexible hours?
All work hours that we offer are not flexible. There are some predefined flexible schedule options available for Recruiters that have passed the probationary period.
Do all employees in your company work as freelancers?
All our employees in Ukraine are full-time employees (not freelancers) who telecommute (work remotely from their home offices). Please note that telecommuting is very different from freelancing.
Can I work with you without leaving my current place of work?
No, it’s not possible. All our positions require your full-time involvement with a minimum of 8 hours a day, unless otherwise specified in the job description. In fact, that would be in violation of V&A policy. V&A only allows a part-time engagement with no more than three hours during the day worked outside of your regular V&A schedule.
Can I work with you and continue my full-time studies?
No, we don’t encourage taking a full-time position with us while studying full-time as well.
Can I have a second job while working with you?
No, having a second job would be in violation of V&A policy as it may get very stressful and it will greatly affect your productivity and job satisfaction with V&A. The only exception to this rule is a part-time engagement with no more than three hours during the day worked outside of your regular V&A Schedule.
How do I get paid?
We always pay in full on a monthly basis via wire transfers to your bank account in Ukraine. All payments are made by the 5th of each month.
Who pays telephone bills?
We cover all business telephone expenses.
When working with you, will I be officially employed?
We sign a contract with you according to which you’ll be working with us as an independent contractor. As part of our benefits program, you may receive partial tax coverage once you provide us with your tax payer’s registration documents and tax receipts.
What does your social package include?

What does telecommuting mean?
Telecommuting means working remotely from your home office.
Will I ever see my coworkers?
Yes. We bring all our employees for a company sponsored yearly meeting in Kyiv where you will be able to meet all your V&A coworkers. In addition to that, we also hold bimonthly focus group meetings in Kyiv where you may be invited or you may volunteer to attend in case you’d like to contribute to the company business process improvement brainstorming sessions.
You are also welcome to meet with your coworkers residing in the same city; such meetings take place outside of work hours, and the meal expenses are covered by V&A on biweekly basis.

What interview stages for a position of Recruiter do you have?
Hiring a new team member for V&A, Inc. is an important step in developing the company overall, that’s why we take it so seriously. The hiring process is as follows:
1. Initial phone screen where we will get a chance to learn more about each other and establish the grounds for future cooperation;
2. Online test which will allow you to demonstrate your analytical and online research skills;
3. Skype phone interview with our Trainers where you get a chance to discuss the technicalities of the position and meet potential co-workers, you will also demonstrate your communication skills, knowledge of and interest in the position for which you are applying;
4. V&A sponsored training program.
While telecommuting in your company, will I have somebody to ask questions if I don’t know something?
Yes, you’ll always have a direct supervisor who will be available to provide you with all necessary support and guidance.
